Striking the balance: The new technology disrupting traditional fining practices
Retaining valuable yield, mitigating high-volume waste streams, and addressing changing labelling requirements are putting fining and other widely accepted industry standard practices into the spotlight. In response to this shifting landscape and the industry's growing commitment to sustainability, amaea have developed a first-of-its kind molecular filtration technology to provide winemakers with a low-impact system to balance and remediate wine.
During the presentation, our team shared our latest technological advancements enabling winemakers to tailor the sensory of their wines, with precision and without the excessive waste.
Joining us was Duncan Shouler, Director of Winemaking at Giesen Group and Dean Boyce, Winemaker at Indevin Group who shared their experience and perspectives on modernising current fining practices.
